Zac Efron (Pacific Coast News) It looks like Zac Efron is playing with a new look for his upcoming movie, New Year's Eve. In a departure from his popular High School Musical look, the star donned aviators and a Levi's jacket while shooting the film in New York.Zac is the lynchpin in a star-studded cast that includes Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, and several other big Hollywood names. The young actor has admitted he's in a hurry to change up his squeaky clean image to avoid being typecast as a dreamboat for the next 10 years. He recently wrapped production on his upcoming movie The Lucky One, where he put on some serious muscle mass to play a soldier who finds himself looking for a mysterious girl in a war time love story.
Interestingly enough, Zac's green Levi's jacket and aviators are kind of a throwback to one of his New Year's Eve co-stars. Robert De Niro famously wore a similar New York get-up in his iconic role as Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver.
